Kresge College Welcome Week
Welcome Week begins on Thursday, September 18th, 2025 and continues through the start of classes on Thursday, September 25th, 2025. All new Kresge students (First-Year and Transfer Students) are encouraged to attend Welcome Week activities, which are designed to ease the transition to Kresge College and UCSC. Note: Some sessions are required.
Welcome Week activities will be shown on the Kresge Program & Activities Calendar. We highly recommend you subscribe to this calendar.
Required Sessions:
Monday 9/22/25 College Advising / Room: Kresge Acad 3105
- 9:00am Kresge 1st Year Students
- 11:30am Porter / Kresge Transfer Students
Wednesday 9/24/25 CORE Plenary Orientation /Room: Kresge Acad 3105
- Kresge CORE Plenary: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Please check the calendar for programs that are required the first week before classes. All welcome week events and required sessions will be added onto your UCSC google calendars, so please make sure to be signed in to your ucsc email.
