Reyna Grande Award Winner Selected for Film Festivals

Viviana Raker, a 2024 Reyna Grande Scholarship recipient, has been selected to screen her short film, El Rancho de Pasión, at the Watsonville Film Festival. This is her first film and it has the honor of being a Latina written film, with an All Latina Directing Team, Latina Led Producing Team, and Latina Led Production Design. In addition to  being an all Spanish film, with an original score including a collaboration with the student-led mariachi band "Mariachi Eterno". The film has also been accepted to the Wolverine Con International Student Film Festival in San Bernardino, CA.
