Kresge Welcome Week

Welcome to UCSC and Kresge College.

This is a very exciting time as you begin your new journey learning more about yourself and the world around you. Every year students tell us that a key factor to their success is getting involved on campus and making a difference in their community. Fall Welcome Week is designed with this in mind. There are many opportunities available during this time to learn as much as possible about your new school and fellow students. There are also a number of things you’ll need to accomplish during your first few days on campus. These include required informational sessions, workshops, orientations, office hours and college social events. All new students will receive an email invite in your email inbox for the UCSC College App Please use this link to download our real-time schedule and familiar yourself with the listings and offerings.

Your academic and social transition to UC Santa Cruz is extremely important to us. We consider ourselves partners in your academic and social success here at UC Santa Cruz. We are here to help and we are excited to have you join our banana slug community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Our staff directory has all our contact information on the Kresge College website and RA’s and OL’s are also very knowledgable resources.

We strongly encouraged you to attend as many events as possible. Get involved early, make connections, and start the year off strong! Most events are optional while some are required and listed below.

We hope you are just as excited as we are for the 2018-19 year to begin! Welcome!
