Kresge Photo Co-op

The Kresge College Photo Co-op, located above the Kresge Piazzetta, is a fully operational black and white darkroom available 24 hours a day for the 20 student members. The photo lab is a cooperative supported by Kresge affiliated students and the Kresge Residential Life unit. Kresge provides a darkroom, development equipment, chemicals and a student manager. The student membership fees support the upkeep and supplies required to maintain the space. Two membership options are available starting fall quarter with priority given to Kresge affiliates.

With membership, you get your own door key and all supplies required except film and paper. The darkroom has four enlargers, a light tight film loading closet, a prep sink for chemicals and film development, a light box and a paper dryer. A student manager is available during weekly office hours to assist members and answer questions.
