| 2pm - 4pm | Families of Students Meet the Kresge Staff Kresge Town Hall While students settle into their apartments,families have the opportunity to meet the Kresge Staff, ask questions and explore possible ways to help your student get the most out of his/her college experience. |

| 12pm -2pm | Kresge Resource Fair and Lunch by Taqueria Santa Cruz Kresge Piazzetta Come and enjoy a free delicious lunch from Taqueria Santa Cruz, a great local taqueria and learn about all the ways you can be involved at Kresge! There will be informational tables for the following organizations: Parliament, Kresge Multicultural Education Committee (KMEC), Kresge Cares, The Kresge / Porter Film and Video Series, the Food Co-op, the Music Co-op, the Photo Co-op and the College Programs Office. |

We will have tons of ice cream and all the fixings for a great late night treat. Please bring pillows and blankets to snuggle up with, we will provide some mats for padding. |

Next you will have the opportunity to pick through free stuff donated from last year's residents before they moved out. Items include electronics, dishware, clothes, arts, knick knacks and much more! |

| 4pm -6pm | Play Time on the Quad Porter Quad Live music, watermelon and pie eating contests, face painting and make-overs, hacki-sac, hula hoops, arts and crafts and so much more. If you have homemade crafts you can bring them and sell them on the Porter lawn. |

| Friday September 23 |
| 7pm -10pm | Smores at the Shores Twin Lakes Beach, SantaCruz Join other Kresge and Porter students for a bon fire at a local beach. Smores ingredients and fire wood will be provided. Shuttles leave from the porter circle at 7pm. The weather can be cool at the beach so dress accordingly. |
